    This is good
I discovered this speaker while reading someone else’s blog re being raised by an abusive narcissistic mother and trying to heal…many decades later sadly. I like how she references Freudian concepts on occasion and find listening a good supplement to my ongoing in person therapy-food for thought in between sessions.

    Great podcast
Very good content. Some episodes have poor audio quality and the call-in format has such poor Audio quality that I found some of those unlistenable. the ones that are listenable are so very good! Obviously these therapists are very qualified to help people, very educated and very insightful! Grateful for the listening experience!

    Sensational drivel
The Satanic Panic did so much damage to so many innocent people. I can’t take this psychologist seriously!

    Nope nope nope
Really didn’t think *psychologists* still used "retarded" in derogatory ways. Super disappointing, especially coming from a supposed professional.

Lots of focus on selling books
Had a hard time getting in to this podcast, because of frequent calls to buy her services and book.

    Review on point!
I read the reviews on this podcast after I started listening to it. Bypass the need for production value and scripting and you are left with amazing insight and knowledge. Many reviewers complain about the phone calls but only bc you just want to keep hearing Dr Judy’s words and wisdom ... not someone else’s topic that may or may not refer to you. Skip your need for the bells and whistles and you have someone who knows what they are talking about and has the huevos to broadcast it.

Call show or informative? Make up your minds please!
This could be good, but the calls are very disrupting to otherwise great topics. I want the information, but the calls take you on such tangents and aren’t seamlessly interwoven into the topics as they want you to think. It’s almost like I cringe when they get another call. I think they should do call in shows and then strictly informative shows, but not mixed.

Mind maps: Lost in the hosting
The first ten minutes of this podcast is an awkward exchange of self-promotion between the two narrators. The remainder is an excellent example of what one can expect when pairing two narrators who don't connect. How can they, when each is preoccupied with controlling the dialogue?

    Very knowledgeable
I think ppl are too critical. This podcast is very informative. It's not perfect, but it's surely much more informative than most podcasts in which ppl keep talking on and on yet not really saying anything substantial or annoying and somehow getting 5-star reviews.

    Mind maps
Dr. Judy is extremely rude and so is the man speaking with her! She should not host a show where individuals can call in if she doesn’t want to give them the necessary time to express themselves!

    So much potential
You can clearly tell the individuals here are intelligent and have done their homework. But their presentation is so awful. They are so eager for phone calls that they wander off topic hapzardly, leaving topics hanging everywhere. There is also this meandering attempt to constnatly connect everything to some "Mind Map" that essentially says all psychological and personality disorders originate with our families--not really revealotry there. Altogether there is no real clincial help provided here but a lot of showy intellect and jargon with no direction other than self-congratulation.
